McDaniel Picks Up Sanders Endorsement in State Senate Race
Chris McDaniel. the Republican candidate for the 23rd district state senate seat which includes most of Covington, has been endorsed by Kenton County Commonwealth's Attorney Rob Sanders. "It is an honor to have the support of Rob Sanders in the general election," McDaniel said in a news release. "Rob is a dedicated public servant and I share his vision of a safer and more prosperous district."
In the same release, Sanders explained his decision to endorse McDaniel. "The number one priority of our law enforcement community is protecting the people of Kenton County," Sanders said. "It is important that the citizens of the 23rd district are represented by someone who takes their community's safety to heart. I supported Chris McDaniel in the primary and am supporting him in the general election because of his genuine concern for the well-being of families in Kenton County. Along with Chris's community involvement, his military service as an Army infantry officer only affirms his continued commitment to the safety of his fellow citizens. I am grateful for the opportunity to support such a qualified and proven leader as Chris McDaniel."
McDaniel, a Taylor Mill businessman, was also endorsed by the Northern Kentucky Association of Realtors political action committee. He faces Democrat Jim Noll, a Villa Hills city councilman, in the November 6 race. Noll recently picked up the endorsement of former Northern Kentucky Congressman Ken Lucas.
