Suspect in Peaselburg Disturbance Identified, Arrested

The man who Covington Police say wielded a gun inside a residence late Monday night in Peaselburg turned himself in Tuesday morning in Newport and is now in the Kenton County Jail. Godla Amene Holder, 26, faces charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault, and a probation violation. Police told The River City News Monday that Holder was wearing an ankle monitor at the time that he allegedly entered the residence, wielded a gun, and then fled the scene prompting a large response from Covington Police who were also working an active scene nearby where in an unrelated case a woman was found dead in her front yard following a medical situation. Holder was arraigned in Kenton County Circuit Court Wednesday morning and is being held on $10,000 bond.
