3 Million Voters Registered in Kentucky for First Time
Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes reported late last week that for the first time ever, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has three million registered voters. More than 57,000 people have been registered since May. Since 2008 more than 130,000 people have been added to the voter rolls. The Party breakdown is roughly 1.6 million Democrats to 1.1 million Republicans, Grimes stated on Twitter.
This Election Day Kentuckians will elect local officials, state legislators, a state Supreme Court justice, and some county court offices.
