More than twenty local mayors and 150 local business leaders will have lunch in Covington Friday afternoon for a discussion about improving education in the region. The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Strive, the Nothern Kentucky Education Council, and the Greater Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce have worked together to create the Mayors for Education government forum at the Grand on Madison Avenue in Downtown Covington.
Data will be presented on the current state of education in our community and government leaders will discuss ways to improve performances, including support for early childhood literacy.
The chairs for the event are University of Cincinnati President Santa Ono and Covington business owner Brent Cooper (C-Forward). The event begins at 11:30AM.
