Roebling Bridge to Close & Other Notes from the Roads

The Roebling Suspension Bridge will close next  Wednesday, May 1 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Originally, when this story was posted, the KYTC said work would also happen on Tuesday next week but that is no longer the case.

Workers will be performing an inspection on the north tower. Motorists can use the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge as a detour option.

In October, the weight limit on the bridge was reduced to three tons forcing TANK buses to use a detour but that limit was lifted in December and up to eleven tons were permitted again.
