(Updated) Two Arrested in Covington Bank Robbery
Two people are behind bars after the Advantage Bank on Pike Street in Covington was robbed on Monday. (SEE: Police Investigating Covington Bank Robbery)
Sam Boles was tracked down in Florence and arrested by that city's police department and charged with bank robbery. Jennifer Boles was also arrested and charged with robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
"We were really pleased with the way the investigation progressed," said Covington Police Chief Spike Jones. "I'm really proud of our criminal investigation and patrol teams and the way they handled this. They are the very best."
Sam Boles is being held at the Kenton Co. Detention Center on $50,000 bond. He is to appear in court on July 24.
Jennifer Boles is being held at the Kenton County Detention Center on $10,000 bond. She is due in court at the same time as Sam Boles.
