Hot Week to End With Cool Down on Friday

A toasty string of days is in store from Covington and Northern Kentucky as temperatures climb into the nineties, but a cooler forecast arrives on Friday.

The high on Monday is expected to be around 89 and then 91 and 92 on Tuesday Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio said in its hazardous weather outlook that the heat index could climb into the mid-nineties on Monday and the upper nineties on Tuesday and Wednesday.

By Friday, the high temperatures is only expected to be 74.
