More Snow, Bitterly Cold Temperatures This Week

After a record-breaking snowfall on Friday, the region awaits up to another inch on Monday.

Additionally, according to the National Weather Service, temperatures are going to be quite cold this week.

Patchy drizzle will remain over the region through this morning as winds shift toward the west and then cooler air will filter back into the region. Some of this drizzle will be freezing at time and will also mix with some flurries, the NWS reports.

An area of light snow with accumulations around an inch will work into the region tonight.

The area of light snow will move east of the region by Tuesday afternoon with total accumulations of an inch or two expected.
