Woodland Music Teacher is KMEA Teacher of the Year

Woodland Middle School teacher Nancy Bailey has been awarded the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) Teacher of the Year Award for 2013-14.

Bailey will be introduced as a recipient of the award at the KMEA General Session and State Awards presentation ceremony on Friday, Feb. 7 in Louisville.

Woodland Middle School teacher Nancy Bailey has been voted Middle School Music Teacher of the Year for KMEA District 6.

"I think we all know how amazing and committed Nancy Bailey is to her students and her profession," said Woodland Principal Tara Sides.  "We're proud to call her a Wildcat!"

Bailey was voted the District 6 teacher of the year by her peers, making her eligible for the state award. District 6 covers eight counties in Northern Kentucky.
