Photos: Inside First Finished Home at Covington Artist Housing Development
The first of five homes to be promoted as "Shotgun Row" in Covington's Westside neighborhood was opened to the public on Friday evening.
Construction on the five homes on the 300 block of Orchard Street in Covington's Westside neighborhood began in September, part of a project that hopes to attract artist residents.
The River City News got a look inside the first finished home as well as the next one slated to be completed.
The Center for Great Neighborhoods, which is developing Shotgun Row, expects the homes to be listed at around $90,000 each.
They feature an open floor plan with one bedroom and one bathroom in addition to off-street parking and a forthcoming sculpture garden.
