
Belterra Park to Hire 700 Workers
Belterra Park Gaming & Entertainment Center, formerly River Downs, is hiring 700 positions.
The $300 million investment by Pinnacle Entertainment is expected to open in May 2014.
Available positions include culinary and service staff and gambling teams.
The company will open a hiring center at the site at 6301 Kellogg Avenue in Anderson Township. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
When the new racino opens in May, it will feature live racing, pari-mutuel wagering, 1,600 video lottery terminals and six dynamic restaurants, a VIP Lounge, ample parking and more. The racing facility will feature a one mile dirt track and Ohio’s only turf track. A new Grandstand is included in the project, along with an OTB Racebook – River Downs Club, a new paddock, jockey’s quarters and 17 new barns.
