Would-be Robber's Hand Slammed in Register, Gets Away With Nothing
The Taylor Mill Subway restaurant was robbed on the afternoon of January 6 and the suspect is still free.
Detectives released grainy surveillance footage of the robbery this week.
A Subway employee told police that a while male came inside the store, walked into the back as if he were going to use the restroom, and then came to the counter and purchased a bag of chips.
When the employee opened the register, the suspect reached over the counter and attempted to grab money. The employee closed the register on the suspect's hand at which point the suspect ran out of the building without any money.
The suspect was seen leaving the Subway parking lot at the Shoppes of Taylor Mill in a gold or gray Toyota.
