Sixteen to Run for Dayton City Council, Councilman to Challenge Mayor

A huge field for Dayton City Council includes five incumbents and eleven challengers.

Incumbent Mayor Kenneth Rankle will face City Councilman Virgil Boruske in November.

That race means at least one seat on the city council will be occupied by a newcomer next year.
