St. Patrick's Day Events in Covington Saturday Through Monday
St. Patrick's Day is officially still two days away, but festivities begin Saturday at Molly Malone's in Covington (112 E. 4th St.) where Stout Fest is being celebrated.
The stouts will tap at noon at the Roebling Point Irish-themed restaurant and bar where party tents were set up on Court Street Friday.
That tent will be heated.
$20 admission scores you a choice of twenty-three different stouts. With admission, you get six five-ounce Tastes and one full pint in a souvenir pint glass and the right to purchase additional five-ounce tastes for $2 or full pints for $4 until 4 p.m.
A $30 VIP ticket guarantees you a sample of the four rarest stouts at the fest.
There will also be Irish bagpipers and live music in addition to the regular menu.
Then on Monday when St. Pat's really gets going, the party starts at 7 a.m. for Kegs & Eggs. The first 100 people get a Molly's souvenir shirt. More bagpipes and Irish dancers will be there throughout the day.
Don't miss the fun in Mainstrasse Village on Monday where the party starts even earlier.
Don’t miss Cock and Bull’s Tent Party which starts at 6 a.m. on Monday (be a member of their 6 am t-shirt club!) and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Their party includes a Q-102 Live Remote and music throughout the day!
Pachinko's will also be having a tent party starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, complete with live music and free t-shirts to the first 50 people.
Otto’s - Come join us Monday night at 5pm for Paddy’s with a Purpose to benefit Northern Ky Reading Camp! A suggested $2 donation at the door and all proceeds from food and drink sales will go directly to funding for this summer camp that serves low income kids that have difficulty reading. The fabulous Kyle Knapp will be playing tunes and we will be serving up traditional Irish fare and stiff cocktails!
The Candy Bar – Special St. Patrick’s Day hours: open Sunday 12 – 4 pm and Monday 12 – 8 pm. Eat some green candy this weekend!
Main Bite – We are gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day at Main Bite! It’s pretty much mandatory to salute the Irish with a green beer, but why not a green drink? Come down this weekend and try our Blarney Stoned cocktail, Tipsy O’Malley martini and many more! Don’t forget our Irish inspired menu. And yes, we love St. Patty’s day here.
