Flying Pig Marathon to Close Covington, Newport Streets
The Flying Pig Marathon takes off from Downtown Cincinnati on Sunday at 6:30 a.m. and will make its way through Newport and Covington as part of its 26.2 mile route (the half marathon, which starts at the same time and the route of which is pictured below, runs concurrently with the main race until about nine miles in).
Traffic in both cities will be affected.
The marathoners enter Newport from the Taylor Southgate Bridge then head towards the 4th Street Bridge into Covington on their way to the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge which will also be closed.
