Sentencing of Former Covington Finance Director Delayed Again
The sentencing of former Covington finance director Bob Due has been delayed again.
Due, 64, pleaded guilty in March to embezzling $793,000 from the city coffers over a dozen years.
He was to be sentenced in April but the date was postponed to May 15. Kenton County Commonwealth's Attorney Rob Sanders announced Tuesday that the date has been pushed back again to May 22, due to scheduling conflicts.
The sentencing will take place at 1:30 p.m. inside the Kenton County Courthouse, room 7A.
Due faces fifteen years in prison though is attorney said that he will ask for ten. With time served and possible parole, the Due could spend fewer than three years in prison.
