Amazing Forecast for Fourth of July!

Monday and Tuesday have been quite sweltering in the River City metro area, but we're in for a real treat as the holiday weekend nears.

First, we may have to get through some severe thunderstorms. The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms to develop across the Northern Kentucky area on Tuesday with some possibly being severe. There is also a threat of damaging winds and large hail.

Meanwhile, the heat index could reach into the mid to upper nineties.

But then things get awesome.

By Thursday, the high temperatures will only reach the mid-seventies and stay nice and sunny through Saturday before temperatures start to climb again.
