NKCAC Executive Director to Speak at Rotary Club Luncheon
Florence Tandy, the executive director of the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kenton County’s luncheon meeting on Thursday, April 23.
The mission of the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission is to help individuals and families develop the knowledge, opportunities and resources they need to achieve self-reliance. The Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission has been in operation since 1966 and is an eight county human services organization with limited services in 18 additional counties.
Mrs. Tandy has served as the executive director of the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission since 2005 and has more than 25 years of experience in non-profit leadership roles, including human services, health care and technical assistance organizations.
“The Rotary Club of Kenton County is thrilled to have Mrs. Tandy as our guest speaker,” stated President Gary Harman. “Our club members are looking forward to learning about the services the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission provides to the Northern Kentucky community.”
The luncheon will begin at noon at the Colonial Cottage Inn at 3140 Dixie Highway in Erlanger. There will be limited seating by reservation only. To make a reservation, please contact Gary Harman at (859) 393-4041. The cost is $12.00 per person.
