PHOTOS: Two Downtown Tours Draw Huge Crowds to Covington
Yesterday afternoon, a pair of downtown tours held in Covington attracted hundreds of people to its urban core.
Beyond the Curb, hosted by The Catalytic Fund, sold 650 tickets to its event, a self-guided tour that exposed "twelve unique properties in Covington's dynamic Licking Riverside, Pike Street Corridor, and MainStrasse Village neighborhoods. Also on Sunday, Cov200 provided tours aboard an old Greenline bus led by The River City News' Michael Monks. The bus stopped at nine different locations throughout the city including the Futuro home, Madlot, Goebel Park, Orchard Park, and the Little Flower Doll Hospital. The tours, held at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., were sold out.
