NKHD to Offer Free Diabetes Class in June
Diabetes educators from the Northern Kentucky Health Department are offering comprehensive education during a free class from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the Burlington Fire House at 6050 Firehouse Drive in Burlington.
Registration is required. Lunch and a diabetes tool kit will be provided.
Topics will include: an overview of diabetes, healthy eating habits, tips to prevent complications and more. The class will be led by a Registered Nurse/Certified Diabetes Educator and a Registered Dietitian from the Health Department.
