Welcome House Executive Director to Speak in Erlanger
Linda Young, Executive Director of the Welcome House of Northern Kentucky, will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kenton County’s luncheon meeting on Thursday, June 11.
The Welcome House of Northern Kentucky was founded in 1982 by Father William Mertes and an ecumenical coalition of churches. This coalition of churches committed to support Welcome House financially and through volunteer efforts in serving the economically disadvantaged citizens of Northern Kentucky. The Welcome House of Northern Kentucky has three service areas located at four different locations in downtown Covington. Together these programs address the variety of needs of those living in poverty or on the verge of homelessness.
Ms. Young has served as the Executive Director of the Welcome House of Northern Kentucky since 1995.
“The Rotary Club of Kenton County is thrilled to have Ms. Young as our guest speaker,” stated President Gary Harman. “Our club members are looking forward to learning about the services the Welcome House of Northern Kentucky provides to the citizens of Northern Kentucky.”
The luncheon will begin at noon at the Colonial Cottage Inn in Erlanger. There will be limited seating by reservation only. To make a reservation, please contact Gary Harman at 859-393-4041. The cost to cover the lunch is $12.00 per person.
