Highland Heights Gets $200,000 for Road Project
The City of Highlands was awarded $200,000 from the Kentucky Department of Transportation for the re-paving of the Knollwood Subdivision.
State Rep. Dennis Keene (D-Wilder) presented a check to the city council.
“This Highland Heights neighborhood will now have the newly completed roads that increases the beautification and value of the neighborhood homes,” said Keene. “I appreciate the help from the Campbell County Fiscal Court and Highland Heights city officials for their support and in determining the scope and parameters of this project.”
Representative Keene secured $230,000 in state funding for the project in 2012. The new funding will new allow for the completion of the project.
