TMC Will Be First College to Hold Rosary Rally on Campus
On Sunday, August 23 at 9:00 p.m., Thomas More College will become the first college/university to hold a Rosary Rally. Hundreds of students will gather in the stands at Griffin Plaza, TMC's football stadium, to pray the rosary and offer up prayers for a safe and successful school year as well as upcoming athletic season. The school will also lift up Mitch Kramer and his family and friends at this difficult time. The Rosary Rally is an event that Sportsleader, a faith-based mentoring and motivation program, holds across the country. At the conclusion, participants will gather on the field in a TMC formation and light candles.
The Rosary Rally is part of TMC's mission of inspiring students by the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, as well as challenging students of all faiths to examine the ultimate meaning of life, their place in the world, and their responsibility to others.
In the past year, Rosary Rallies have been held at dozens of high schools across the Tri-State and the United States. Thomas More College will become the first college to hold a Rosary Rally on their campus.
