Fort Thomas Care Facility to Receive Check from Local Charitable Group

The Luther Charitable Foundation will be presenting a check to Sister Diane Mack in support of Carmel Manor’s Expansion and Renovation project.

Representatives from the Luther Charitable Foundation will present the funds on Tuesday, September 29 at 1:30pm in the Lobby of Carmel Manor located at 100 Carmel Manor Road in Fort Thomas.

To keep serving the needs of the community, Carmel Manor is working on an exciting new expansion project which includes an addition to our existing building and some key renovations. Construction is currently underway for a new addition that will feature a Rehabilitation Center, a Memory Care Center and an enclosed Memory Garden. Included in the project is the renovation of the existing nursing facility to allow for additional private rooms and upgraded amenities.

“It is an exciting time for us," said Sister Diane Mack, Administrator at Carmel Manor. "We are blessed to have dedicated and caring staff who bring their best efforts to work each day to help our residents. As autumn is upon us we look forward to cooler days, brilliant colors, and gentle reminders of God’s great love for us. May He continue to bless each of you for your kindness and support of Carmel Manor, the Carmelite Sisters and our “mission” of caring for the elderly.”

Carmel Manor is sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters, whose sole mission is to care for the aged and infirm. The facility offers two levels of care at its Ft. Thomas location: personal care and skilled nursing care. In addition to meeting the physical, social, spiritual, and personal needs, the staff works to connect personally with each resident, and get to know their story.

Those interested in more information or contributing to the campaign can contact Development Director Scott Johnson.
