City Barbeque Holding 5th Annual Fundraiser to Fight Cancer
On Wednesday, October 21, City Barbeque will hold its fifth annual fundraiser to fight cancer. All City Barbeque locations will be donating 5% of sales from this day to the American Cancer Society to support cancer research and patient care.
“We’d like to raise awareness about what can be done to prevent cancer and also make a contribution to general cancer research, because we know some of our guests, and their families have been affected by cancer of all kinds," said City Barbeque Marketing Manager, Leda Isenhour. "We’re proud to be able to get involved in breast cancer awareness month and have an avenue to help the fight against cancer of all kinds. It’s ‘Que for a Cure!”
“Working with the local chapters of the American Cancer Society has been great. Their work touches the lives of so many folks in our areas."
City Barbeque will be open 10:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. on October 21. The donation will come from both dine in and carryout sales.
