Cov Cath to Hold Veteran's Day Celebration

Covington Catholic High School will hold its annual Veteran’s Day celebration on Tuesday, November 10 at 9:50 am in the school gymnasium at 1600 Dixie Highway in Park Hills. The event is sponsored by the school’s National English Honor Society (NEHS).

Covington Catholic alumni who have served our country are invited to attend with their family members. At this assembly, the entire Covington Catholic High School student body, along with the faculty and staff, will join veterans and their guests to show appreciation for the bravery displayed by members of the United States Armed Forces.

The assembly will begin promptly at 9:50 A.M. and will conclude around 11:30 A.M. After the ceremony, guests are also invited to have some light refreshments in the gym foyer.

Those Covington Catholic Alumni veterans and their families who plan to attend should R.S.V.P. by Monday, November 9 to Diane Ruth by email at [email protected] indicating the number of people who will attend.

Veterans are encouraged to wear their military uniform for the ceremony.

Covington Catholic High School is a Blue Ribbon of Excellence award winning college preparatory high school within the Diocese of Covington. It is an all-male school of 604 whose mission is to embrace the Gospel message of Jesus Christ in order to educate students spiritually, academically, physically and socially.
