Senator Majority Floor Leader to Speak at Rotary Club
Kentucky State Senator Damon Thayer (R-Georgetown) will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kenton County’s luncheon meeting on Thursday, December 10.
Senator Thayer represents the 17th State Senate District which encompasses Grant, Scott and southern Kenton Counties. Senator Thayer was first elected to the Kentucky State Senate in 2003 and was chosen in January 2013 as the Senate Majority Floor Leader by his peers. Senator Thayer serves as a member of the Committee on Committees, the Rules Committee and the Legislative Research Commission.
“The Rotary Club of Kenton County is thrilled to have Senator Thayer address our group,” stated President Carol Margrave. “Our club is looking forward to hearing an update of legislative activities in Frankfort.””
The luncheon will begin at noon at the Colonial Cottage Inn in Erlanger. There will be limited seating by reservation only. The cost of the luncheon is $12.00 per person.
