Game On: NKY Winter Senior Games Set for January 14

The NKY Senior Games: Winter Edition will take place at the Ft. Thomas Armory on Thursday, January 14. This event is for anyone at least 50 years old and who still loves to play. 

Registration is $10 before January 6 and includes the entry fee and lunch. Registration after January 6, including on-site registration, costs $15. 

On-site registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the games will begin at 9:30 a.m. Games include snow skittles, shuffleboard, snowflake toss, billiards, hockey shot, freezebee toss, snowman toss, snow golf, basketball spot shooting, Pop-A-Shot, snow ball toss, Wii, and cup stacking. Participants can play one game or play them all. Lunch and awards will follow around noon.

The Armory is located at 950 Ft. Thomas Ave. in Ft. Thomas. In the case of inclement weather, a make-up day has been scheduled for January 21, 2016.

The NKY Senior Games are sponsored by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services/NKY Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living, Interim Healthcare, Barrington and Highlandspring of Ft.
