Nonprofits and social enterprise organizations with innovative solutions to our social challenges were invited to apply.

“Cincinnati is a giving community and rich in nonprofits working to make a difference. Yet, we still have many challenges. Therefore, Fast Pitch Cincinnati is seeking nonprofit programs with innovative and creative ways to more effectively help solve our community’s problems,” said Melisse May, chairperson for Fast Pitch Cincinnati.

SVP Fast Pitch Cincinnati 2016 will connect social innovators with business and philanthropic leaders who want to help them tell their story and amplify their impact. Through the three-month program, innovators hone their ideas and messages through workshops and mentoring.

“While the training and award money are what first attracts nonprofits to Fast Pitch, the participants tell us they really value the networking and connections which produce added donations,” said Ruth Klette, SVP Partner and Trustee at Elsa M. Heisel Sule Foundation.

The Else Heisel Sule Foundation generously supports the $15,000 grand award. The three-minute pitching competition culminates in a final event before a panel of judges and an audience of over 500 who determine which nonprofits win the awards.

“Fast Pitch is just one way that SVP Cincinnati is fulfilling its mission to cultivate effective philanthropists, strengthen nonprofits and build collaborative relationships for social change,” said SVP Cincinnati Board Chairperson, Sandy Hughes. “Fast Pitch is not only effective, it’s a fun way to engage the community in philanthropy.”
