Reds Historian to Speak at Kenton Rotary Club Luncheon
The team historian for the Cincinnati Reds, Greg Rhodes, will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kenton County’s luncheon meeting on Thursday, February 18.
Rhodes was named the Executive Director of the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum when it opened in 2004 and served in that capacity until retiring from the position in July 2007. He continues to serve as team historian and remains active in speaking engagements regarding the history of Reds baseball. Rhodes is the host of the Reds Hall of Fame highlight moments heard prior to each Reds game on the Reds Radio Network pregame show and has co-authored seven books on the Cincinnati Reds.
“The Rotary Club of Kenton County is thrilled to have Greg Rhodes as our guest speaker,” stated President Carol Margrave. “Our club members are looking forward to hearing about the history of the Cincinnati Reds.”
The luncheon will begin at noon at the Colonial Cottage Inn in Erlanger. There will be limited seating by reservation only. To make a reservation, please contact Carol Margrave at 859-240-8227. The cost to cover the lunch is $12.00 per person.
