Covington Bank Robbed, Police Searching for Suspect
UPDATE: The suspect has been captured.
At approximately 4:26 p.m. this afternoon, a white male robbed the FIfth Third Bank at 107 Brent Spence Square in Covington.
The unknown male appears to be balding, approximately 6 feet in height, with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket, dark blue hooded jacket underneath, and sunglasses. According to a report from the Covington Police Department, no weapon was displayed. The suspect fled in an unknown direction prior to police arrival.
At this point in the investigation, it is believed that the suspect may be involved in two other recent bank robberies that occurred in Fort Mitchell and Erlanger. The suspect in those robberies is believed to be driving a light gray Chevrolet Malibu, with Ohio registration, and possibly front end damage.
