Gold Star Chili Hosting Buy One, Give One Event for Charity
To celebrate National Chili Day on February 25, Gold Star Chili is hosting a “Buy 1, Give 1” 3-Way event. For every 3-Way purchased at area restaurants on Thursday, Gold Star Chili will give one to someone in need.
“We are honored to have been serving this community for more than 50 years,” said Roger David, CEO. “This year, we are partnering with seven community organizations to bring National Chili Day to those in need. Our hope is to have as many local residents as possible be able to enjoy Cincinnati’s unique chili on this day regardless of their economic circumstances.”
Mr. David, Gold Star Chili corporate office staff and local franchise owners will be serving 3-Ways on Thursday at these local support organizations: City Gospel Mission and Zion Baptist Church in Cincinnati; Henry Hosea House in Newport; Mary Rose Mission in Florence; Fairhaven Rescue Mission in Covington, KY; H.O.P.E.-Helping Out People Everywhere in Dry Ridge; and Heart House in Aurora, IN.
“We are really thankful to Gold Star Chili and its employees for their support,” said Tim Curtis, Communications Director of City Gospel Mission. “We hope the community will enjoy a 3-Way at Gold Star Chili on National Chili Day and know that by doing so they will be bringing a delicious, satisfying meal to people who really do need it”
