Golden Alert Issued for Missing Elsmere Senior
UPDATE: The man has been found and is safe, according to police.
A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing Edgewood man.
Bruce Alexander, 67, was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, tan pants, and carrying a white walking cane. He is 6'2" and 200 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. Alexander lives at the Woodcrest Nursing Home and Rehabilitation center in Elsmere.
According to Edgewood Police, the missing man suffers from dementia and has very poor eyesight. He has no next of kin.
On Monday, Alexander walked away from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood at 4:47 p.m. He boarded TANK bus #33 at 4:48 p.m. to Covington. Alexander was last seen at Fairhaven Rescue Mission on Pike Street in Covington eating dinner at 6:30 p.m.
