Ludlow Man Arrested for Peeing on Plane
When you gotta go, you gotta go - and now a Ludlow man is behind bars in North Carolina.
According to reports, Jordan Gardner, 28, was en route to Charlotte on a red eye flight from San Francisco when after about an hour into the journey, he pulled down his pants in the cabin and relieved himself in front of horrified passengers.
The passenger sitting next to Gardner summoned a flight attendant, who saw Gardner pulling up his pants, according to the report. The flight attendant sent him to the bathroom.
But after about 15 minutes, Gardner had not left the bathroom. When the flight attendant opened the door, she found him lying on the floor of the bathroom.
The flight attendant tried to clean the urine with club soda, but it still smelled when the plane landed at Charlotte Douglas.
The paper identified Gardner as being from Ludlow.
According to the FBI, Gardner has a criminal record across multiple states that includes charges of battery, trespassing, auto theft, writing bad checks, intoxication, and vandalism. Now he can add "destruction of an aircraft" to that list. Gardner will appear in court to answer to that federal charge on Thursday.
