Thomas More Looks for "White Out" as Saints Return Home

Thomas More College is looking for a "white-out" to celebrate the first home game of the women's basketball season.

The Saints are calling for fans to come to the Connor Convocation Center for Saturday's game against Wittenberg. Anyone wearing all-white to the 4 p.m. game will get in free.

Thomas More is defending its 2016 national title, and the Saints have started the new season 2-0, with big wins over Centre, 69-36, and 14-ranked Maryville, 71-42.

The Saints are riding a 35-game winning streak and have won 49 straight at home.

Ten days ago, the NCAA rocked the Crestview Hills campus and Thomas More agreed to vacate its 2015 national title and al victories from that season, after the organization ruled that star player Sydney Moss received inappropriate benefits by staying at an assistant coach's home while recovering from a knee injury.

This season, Thomas More is ranked #4 in the nation and three Saints are averaging double-figure scoring as junior forward Nikki Kiernan (Cold Spring/Newport Central Catholic) averages 18.0, junior guard Abby Owings (Independence/Simon Kenton) averages 16.5, and sophomore guard Madison Temple (Cincinnati/Anderson) averages 14.5.
