Kenton County Family Court Has a New Judge
Kenton County has a new Family Court judge.
Governor Matt Bevin appointed local attorney Dawn Michelle Gentry to the post that was vacated when Judge Lisa Osborne Bushelman resigned, citing medical reasons in May.
Gentry, of Edgewood, will serve as justice of the Kenton County Family Court/16th Judicial Circuit, Division 5.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in 2003 and her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2006. For the past nine years, she has practiced family law and social security disability law in Northern Kentucky.
Gentry was selected from three finalists considered by Gov. Bevin.
