Photos: Inside the Old Covington Firehouse Residence that Just Hit the Market
Built in 1888 as the Covington Fire Department's Company 4, this historic building on Main Street is up for sale again.
It served for nearly a hundred years as a firehouse, but has been a residential building since the 1980s.
The building - which can be a single family or two-family - sold in 2014, but is back on the market Thursday with a listing price of $395,000. It can be found at 827 Main Street in Mainstrasse Village.
The spacious garage can accommodate six to eight cars and the residences feature lofty ceilings and skylights. The original warm wood floors remain.
In 2015, Covington firefighters that served at the station reunited there for a celebration and to share memories.
The home is listed by Huff Realty's Rebecca Weber & Associates and is being shown by appointment. Call 859.667.1380 or follow Rebecca Weber & Associates on Facebook.
