Cabaret to Celebrate Life of David Herriman
A cabaret is planned to celebrate the life of David Herriman, a fitting tribute to one of the region's most passionate arts philanthropist.
The businessman and longtime downtown Covington advocate - who developed the Riverside Terrace and Plaza on the city's riverfront - died earlier this month at the age of 85.
A Cabaret Celebrating the Life of David C. Herriman is scheduled for Monday, March 6 at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park (962 Mt. Adams Circle, Cincinnati).
“David’s optimism, loyalty and enthusiasm for life was revealed in the organizations he supported – especially the arts and social justice causes. His friendships were many and varied, and his love for this region could not be equaled,” said James P. Conway, event organizer and friend of Herriman. “This event will celebrate David’s many public achievements, of course, but we are also celebrating the man whose loss is very personal to those of us who had the privilege of knowing him.”
The gathering begins at 4:30 p.m. and the presentation is scheduled for 5 p.m.
