Police Surround House in Dayton

A Dayton woman is in jail after allegedly shooting at her boyfriend and engaging police in a standoff for hours late Sunday night and early Monday morning.

Elizabeth Finch, 56, ultimately surrendered to police - as captured on the live Facebook video embedded below (look towards the end) - and is now in the Campbell County Detention Center. She is charged with first degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was booked at 2:30 a.m.

A heavy police presence - including SWAT - responded to the home on Kenton Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets in Dayton.

Witnesses reported that an armed woman refused to come out of the house and that a man was taken from the scene by police.

Facebook user Joe Wynn broadcast live from across the street:

James Hill, 38, was also arrested, and is reported to be the man that Finch allegedly shot at. He is charged with alcohol intoxication, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

We will update the story when more is known.
