Photos: Students Take Over Villa Hills Government

Students took over Villa Hills's government on Wednesday night.
 
5th grade students from Villa Madonna Academy, River Ridge Elementary, and St. Joseph School in Crescent Springs participated in a city council shadow night.
 
Students from the three schools wrote essays on why they wanted to be part of city leadership and the top essay writers were chosen to be part of this special experience. 
 
At the meeting, council took care of regular business, and on the agenda was a special resolution recognizing Villa Madonna Academy’s two state champion chess teams The K-1 and K-3 teams along with their coach, Ajdin Dropic, were recognized at the meeting with a special resolution that will be part of Villa Hills’s history books.
