New Steak & Seafood Restaurant Opens in Dayton
Dayton is quietly building a dining destination along Sixth Avenue.
The latest: Trotta's Steak & Seafood, which celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday.
Owned and operated by Kathleen Trotta, whose previous restaurant, O'Fallon's operated on the Dayton riverfront in the 1980s, is now open in the space previously occupied by Buona Vita Pizzeria.
Trotta's is “an upscale casual restaurant featuring fresh steak and seafood," Trotta said. "We’ll serve great food with a full bar service at a reasonable price. A great place to bring family and friends.”
Hometown Heroes and Purple Poulet are also newer restaurants now open in Dayton.
The City of Dayton is aggressively working to repopulate its central business district with its Commercial Community Advantage Program (CCAP), which offers incentives to businesses.
“Trotta’s Steak and Seafood, joins our growing list of new businesses that have been attracted to Dayton through our Commercial Community Advantage Program," said Mayor Virgil Boruske. "There is a lot of excitement in community about all the new businesses opening in Dayton, and we look forward to have another ribbon cutting soon.”
