$15 Million Luxury Condo Development to Break Ground in Covington
A $15 million condo project is coming to a prominent hillside in Covington, and will break ground on Wednesday.
Joshua One, the Covington-based developer, and its sales agent, Sibcy Cline Realtors, will launch Verandas @ the Views at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a news release.
The Verandas project, which brings back the team behind the Views housing development on the hillside below, will include an 18-unit building with condos costing between $815,000 and $1 million, along with a $2 million top-floor penthouse.
“There just isn’t enough inventory in the market for this type of high-end, luxury product,” said Joshua One managing partner Paul Zeltwanger said in a news release. Zeltwanger, also an Ohio state representative from Mason, Oh., also acquired the hilltop above the site from the Kentucky Community & Technical College in May for $3.2 million.
Verandas @ The Views were designed by WORK Architecture + Design and will be marketed by real estate agent Doug Schuerman of Sibcy Cline.
The project is considered a second phase of the Views, the hillside development that boats high-end, three-story townhomes with unobstructed skyline views, in Covington's Lewisburg neighborhood. Verandas will be constructed at Shavano Drive and Grays Peak on the west end of the Views
Verandas @ The Views is being built at Shavano Drive and Grays Peak, on the west end of The Views.
Condos will average 2,500 square feet, with three bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. Kitchens will feature quartz or granite countertops, hardwood floors, Kohler faucets, stainless-steel Bosch appliances, a pantry and multiple styles of high-end cabinetry. Residents will enjoy the same amenities as The Views, such as the clubhouse, Infinity edge pool, and workout room.
