Former Campus Security Chief Gets 8+ Years for Child Pornography
The former campus safety director at Thomas More College is sentenced to eight and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Robert Marshall, 54, will also have to register as a sex offender for life.
Covington Police began investigating Marshall in January 2014 when a family member reported finding possible child pornography on his computer.
When police arrived, Marshall was running a program designed to erase data and files from his computer. Thirty-six child pornography images were received but thousands of files had been erased. The nature of those files could not be determined.
Marshall was ultimately arrested in January of 2016 and fired from Thomas More College where he had worked since 1999.
