Campbell Co.: Cutter Resigns; Horror Film to Use County Building as Hospital
The Campbell County Fiscal Court moved swiftly through their agenda Wednesday evening, stopping briefly for discussion on only a few items.
The first item to bring discussion to the court was the resignation of Seth Cutter, the economic development officer for the county.
“Seth has done a wonderful job for us, we all love him,” Pendery said. “If you love somebody and they have the opportunity to go to a better place with a higher ceiling, you let them.”
Cutter is taking a job with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, he told The River City News in an email.
Pendery added that the county typically hires people that he believes are over-qualified for the job, appreciating that they have all put time in with the county and learned from them, before moving on to other jobs, allowing the county to have connections throughout the region.
The court will change the title of Cutter’s former position to development and communications manager to “allow for a broader pool of candidates”. The job description will also be amended to call for new candidates to be involved in community outreach on social media.
Horror film to use county building
Things could get spooky at the Campbell County Fiscal Court Building when Danger House Production, LLC. begin filming their new movie there.
HAUNT has been filming around Covington and Newport, as RCN reported last week.
The fiscal court approved the film company's use of the building Wednesday evening, saying that the building will be used as a hospital for scenes in the film.
“I don’t know that it’s going to be a glamorous thing,” Judge/Executive Steve Pendery said. “I don’t see the resemblance (to a hospital).”
