A corner store in Covington's Mainstrasse Village was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday evening.

Police responded to Kimmy's Corner at 837 Main Street after a man entered the store, pointed a gun at an employee's head, and demanded money.

He made off with the cash register and still has not been located, Covington Police told The River City News on Thursday morning.

The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black shoes, dark jeans, black scarf, and a black and white toboggan.
