Travel Channel's "Food Paradise" to Shoot Episode at Hotel Covington
The Travel Channel is coming to Hotel Covington to shoot an episode of Food Paradise, its popular Sunday night series.
The River City News has learned that the show will feature Coppin's at Hotel Covington, the boutique hotel's restaurant, and its specialty Porkoplis BBQ sandwich as well as its Al's Chili.
A production crew will shoot at the hotel on Wednesday, January 31, and the public is invited to get a seat - if one is available.
Filming of the episode begins at 6:30 a.m. and the restaurant will be closed to the public during that time but will reopen at 11:30 a.m. for regular lunch service. Guests at Coppin's may be interviewed as part of the show.
Hotel Covington opened in 2016 and has become an instant favorite for local fans of craft cocktails and fine dining.
