Hotel Covington Names New Executive Chef
Hotel Covington named a new executive chef to oversee food and beverage concepts at Coppins', the Walk-Up Window, the coffee bar, and the courtyard.
Mitch Arens is a Northern Kentucky native and Sullivan University graduate whose culinary journey began as a taste-tester in his mother's kitchen, he said.
Arens worked for Cincinnati chef David Falk and helped launch Boca Restaurant Group's flagship location of Nada.
Arens also staged under acclaimed chef, restaurateur, and TV personality Rick Bayless, and Food & Wine Best New Chef (class of 2009) winner Nate Appleman to develop Nada's Mexican menu.
