Horizon Community Funds to Offer Prizes on Kentucky Gives Day

Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky has partnered with the Kentucky Nonprofit Network (KNN) to bring additional awareness and prizes for Kentucky Gives Day 2018, now in its sixth year.

From midnight until 11:59 p.m. on May 22, Kentuckians and those who care about the organizations that serve the commonwealth will connect with and donate to nonprofits by visiting www.kygives.org.

Horizon Community Funds is adding an incentive for nonprofits to join the event by bringing in new prizes for nonprofits who lead in donations for the day. Various prizes will be awarded to nonprofits that offer services or programming in Boone, Campbell, and/or Kenton counties.

“Horizon Community Funds is excited to partner with the Kentucky Nonprofit Network for Kentucky Gives Day 2018,” said Horizon Community Funds president Nancy Grayson. “Northern Kentucky has a strong community of charitable organizations who work every day to make a positive impact in our region. As Northern Kentucky’s own community foundation, we work to support these critically important organizations in their missions through increased philanthropy.”

Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)3 designation and operating in Kentucky may register through April 23 at www.kygives.org. Kentucky Gives Day registration is free for KNN members; charities that are not yet members may either join KNN at the time of registration or pay a one-time fee.
