Girls Night, Debut of Alley-Based Art Gallery Highlight Bellevue Weekend
It's going to be a fun weekend in Bellevue.
First Friday's theme is "Girls Night" - and then on Saturday, a block party will feature the debut of the Allery, a new outdoor art gallery in an alley.
In Vue encourages the girls to get together and head to Fairfield Avenue on Friday - starting at 5 p.m. - for an evening of shopping, nibbles, and giggles. The city's popular shops and restaurants will have plenty of specials.
RESN8 Gallery (413 Fairfield Ave.) is hosting an opening reception of "The Fabric ofKinship", featuring work from the talented mother-daughter duo, Gun-Marie Nälsén and Anne-Marie Herrera.
On Saturday, an alley, local art, and a group of neighbors throwing a party will take place on the 200 block of Van Voast Avenue. West 6th Beer and Fairfield Market will be on site, there will be a performance by Randy Steffen, and seven local artists will showcase their one-of-a-kind pieces.
The event runs from 4 to 9 p.m. See more at the Facebook event page.
