Man Pleads Guilty to Sex with Minor, Faces More Charges
A man faces 20 to 50 years or life in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of first degree sodomy.
Christopher Charles, 40, was arrested by Kentucky State Police in January, accused of having sex with a girl younger than 12.
Grant County News reports that Charles, of Dry Ridge, allegedly engaged in sex with the girl at a home in Erlanger twice and once in the parking lot of the Frisch's restaurant parking lot on Dixie Highway in Erlanger.
Charles also faces two counts of first degree sodomy in Grant County where he was indicted for allegedly having sex with the same victim at a home there.
Charles will be sentenced on August 20, and regardless of the sentence, he will have to register for life as a sex offender.
The Grant County case continues on July 25 with a pre-trial conference.
